Our mission: To improve and preserve a desirable Historic Downtown Encinitas that provides an exceptional atmosphere for the community and its visitors.
The creation of Leucadia 101 marks the beginning of a mainstreet revitalization effort for the North Coast Hwy. 101 corridor, from Encinitas Blvd. to La Costa Blvd.
Their mission is to promote small town friendliness within the community towards local residents and visitors alike.
San Dieguito Heritage Museum
Founded in 1988 to collect, preserve and interpret the local history of the San Dieguito River area, including Leucadia, Encinitas, Olivenhain, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and Rancho Santa Fe. The founders had deep roots in the local communities and cherished the unique history of the area.
Friends of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library
The purpose of the Friends of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Library shall be to aid and support the Cardiff-by-the-Sea branch of the San Diego County Library; to maintain a membership of persons interested in the library and the community; to focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs; to help the library be responsive to the needs of the community; and to expand the resources of the library.
Encinitas Historical Society
The Encinitas Historical Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and interpreting the City’s rich past though its research, library, programs, exhibits and publications.
